It’s Thanksgiving today, which has always been one of my favorite holidays. It’s not just that there’s nothing more American than a holiday dedicated to overeating and football. I also like the idea of setting aside a day to be thankful for what you’ve got.

And I’ve got a lot to be thankful for– a good job, a great dog, a wonderful family, and thanks to SteelyKid:

I’ve got more to be thankful for every week.

  1. You put your dog before your family?

You’ll be paying for that one for a long long time.

Due from the oven at 1545 hrs. Cajun sausage and corn bread stuffing plus candied yams complete the four food groups: Salt, sugar, starch, grease. We’ve got most of the vitamins covered, too: ketchup, garlic, horseradish, cayenne, chocolate, caffeine, and single malt scotch.

Go ahead, eat tofurky and celebrate the Seven Dreadful Sins: stupidity, insanity, fetish, religiosity, malice, irresponsibility, and mandated charity.
