  1. I’m not sure I’d call it an alley-oop. It is one hell of a bounce pass, though.

  2. I think anything where the pass is above the rim and dunked directly from there counts as an alley-oop. But this is an area open to some debate.

  3. I’ve heard that called a ‘bounce alley-oop’ pass. I saw (on tv) an nba all star game where isaih thomas did that in a half court set play – the showy part being that the bounce was between the defenders legs.
