Pimp Me New Blogs

I’ve updated the sidebar links to reflect the fact that John Horgan has moved his blog, and to add Tales from the Learning Curve. I’m sure I’m missing something, though, so tell me what it is.

What are the best blogs out there that I’m not linking to? (Bearing in mind that I’m not enthusiastic about political punditry at the moment…) If you think there’s some blog I should be reading and linking to that you don’t see represented here, leave a link in the comments, and I’ll take a look.

(It would probably be a good idea to leave a link to a specific post that you found worthwhile, or a short explanation of what’s good about a given blog– it makes things easier for the reader. As a practical matter, you should also try to keep the number of links per comment small– too many links will get your comment flagged as spam, and require me to approve it before it appears.)

There’s no modesty rule here, either– if you’ve got a blog yourself, feel free to promote it in the comments. Unless it’s dedicated to selling illicit pharmaceuticals or something, in which case, I’ll delete it as spam.

I won’t promise to add links to everything, but I will at least try to look at recommended blogs.

  1. I’m sure I’m missing something, though, so tell me what it is.

    Horgan is an unctuous IDiot. Nobody thinks starvation in Dafur is subject to interpretive dance in in Hoboken, New Jersey. A $trillion in charity has not changed Africa other than to tenfold multiply its population.

    “Fill full the mouth of Famine
    And bid the sickness cease;
    And when your goal is nearest
    The end for others sought,
    Watch sloth and heathen Folly
    Bring all your hopes to nought.”

    (physical reality) – (empirical reality) = religion

    Penance is endless debt. God wants blood.
