I normally hate these sorts of albums but the ‘here comes santa’ song he does is great.
It has a real old style pogues feel to it.

How about “Like a Rolling Stones”? Visualize Bob channeling Mick on Under My Thumb. Heady stuff. I am a big fan of Bob’s singing, on a good day (I know, I know.) If you can keep your foot from tapping to Must Be Santa, you must have a cold cold heart and/or a tin tin ear.
I would 100% pay to hear Bob Dylan doing Cole Porter. Yes, I would.
Another possibility: “Bob Dylan: Unforgettable”, with Dylan singing alongside dead artists like Nat King Cole.

On watching that video, I was mostly boggled by his current look. What the hell is with his hair?
And who were the guys fighting?
Also, what’s with the list of Presidents? (“Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen,/ Carter, Reagan, Bush and Clinton,” though I might have the wrong reindeer names…)
I like the first option. I think that could actually be quite interesting. Cole Porter by Dylan … Irving Berlin too. Hey they did great music.
Well I went with opera – cause screeching is screeching, no matter who does it.
One appreciates Mr. Zimmerman’s sense of humor more when one reads his autobiography. He is having as much fun, and self-awareness of the joke, as when Shatner records a song. Hey, “Dylan sings Star Trek.” I’d buy that…
Actually, I was thinking of Bob covering Barry Sadler.
