Thanks. “Quantum Progress” that references the other blogs is interesting in itself too. The new blogs are good because they deal with and offer helpful insight and suggestions about education and scientific reasoning, not just subject matter per se. I have and still teach sciences off and on at various levels, and appreciate recognition of bureaucratic issues as well as the significance of reasoning skills. And “metacognition” can sound like a psychobabble cliche, but it’s important for people to think about their thinking. Indeed, I think the pros have problems with clear thinking in difficult areas (;-) and have written about that.
