So for the first time since about 1990, I added a Top 40 station to my car radio presets, so I would know what she was actually trying to sing. This leads to a bunch of seat-dancing and sing-along in the back seat as I drive her to taekwondo and so on, so I give you three of the songs that she&#8217;s grooving two these days:<\/p>\n<p>First up, we have:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OPf0YbXqDm0\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>My first reaction to hearing that was &#8220;Hey, it&#8217;s great that <a href=\"https:\/\/myspace.com\/metaldrummerpete\/video\/morris-day-and-the-time-jungle-love\/23044547\">Morris Day<\/a> is getting work&#8230;&#8221; But, you know, I enjoyed the Time, so: cool. I actually bought this record. Next, we have:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sCbS-TLEoRA\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>SteelyKid really likes the chorus of this. And, you know, it&#8217;s okay. A few bad echoes of the really unfortunate rap-rock heyday of the early 2000s, but nothing too traumatic.<\/p>\n<p>Finally,<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HMqgVXSvwGo\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Sigh.
