Pre-order now, because <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/06\/25\/business\/media\/hachette-said-to-be-near-deal-for-perseus-books.html\">Hachette bought my publisher<\/a>, so you don&#8217;t know how long those buttons will be there.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/scienticity.net\/rs\/episode-22-my-dog-knows-physics-edition-with-chad-orzel-video\/\">My appearance on the Read Science! hangout<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; A <a href=\"http:\/\/physicsworld.com\/cws\/article\/print\/2011\/nov\/10\/the-brave-new-media-world\">commentary piece I did for Physics World on the OPERA neutrino story<\/a>. I wasn&#8217;t paid for this. (You probably need to sign in to their site to read it, but it&#8217;s a free registration&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; An <a href=\"http:\/\/physicsworld.com\/cws\/article\/print\/2009\/dec\/01\/measuring-almost-zero\">article on searching for an electric dipole moment of the electron<\/a> that I wrote for Physics World. This one required some actual journalism, and I was paid for it.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; Some <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2013\/04\/04\/blogging-doesnt-have-to-be-a-career\/\">old<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2013\/05\/31\/blogging-is-not-mandatory\/\">blog<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2013\/10\/18\/blogging-used-to-be-punk-rock-man\/\">posts<\/a> on the professionalization of blogging.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; A blisteringly stupid <a href=\"http:\/\/wjh.harvard.edu\/~jmitchel\/writing\/failed_science.htm\">rant against replications in psychology<\/a>. Seriously, the mind boggles.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212; A <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefacultylounge.org\/2014\/06\/how-an-irb-could-have-legitimately-approved-the-facebook-experimentand-why-that-may-be-a-good-thing.html\">fairly comprehensive piece on the Facebook experiment<\/a>, and a <a href=\"http:\/\/andrewledvina.com\/code\/2014\/07\/04\/10-ways-facebook-is-the-devil.html\">more limited piece from somebody who used to work with Facebook&#8217;s research group.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Somewhat unusually, Rhett actually had an agenda for this one.
