{"id":809,"date":"2006-11-12T08:44:33","date_gmt":"2006-11-12T08:44:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2006\/11\/12\/the-neverending-saga-of-powerp\/"},"modified":"2006-11-12T08:44:33","modified_gmt":"2006-11-12T08:44:33","slug":"the-neverending-saga-of-powerp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chadorzel.com\/principles\/2006\/11\/12\/the-neverending-saga-of-powerp\/","title":{"rendered":"The Never-Ending Saga of PowerPoint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some of the discussion in my <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2006\/11\/powerpoint_examples.php\">recent post giving example slides<\/a> made me realize a problem with the way I posted them&#8211; converting the slides to PDF loses the transition effects, which are a significant part of the lecture.<\/p>\n<p>In an attempt to address this, here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/467\/files\/2012\/04\/i-1a6c38d46d3c2041ec3eb23ec3d74029-animation_sim.pdf\">a crude simulation of the effect<\/a>, done by making incremental copies of two slides, to show how the text is revealed.
