But, really, if I&#8217;m your only source for political links on the Web, you need to get out more. This is just a collection of links to a few things that I thought were particularly worth reading in the aftermath of Tuesday&#8217;s election.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/delong.typepad.com\/sdj\/2006\/11\/32100000_vs_245.html\">Brad DeLong on the size of the Democratic mandate<\/a>. Thirty-two million Americans voted for Democratic candidates, compared to twenty-four million Americans who voted for Republicans. I think those numbers should get wider circulation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.matthewyglesias.com\/archives\/2006\/11\/its_semi_official\/\">Matt Yglesias on the &#8220;genius&#8221; of Karl Rove<\/a>. I&#8217;ve long been mystified by his reputation of invincibility, but hopefully this election will do a little to puncture that.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re the sort who likes a little sober realism to temper your celebration, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecorpuscle.com\/2006\/11\/restoration_mor.html\">the Corpuscle has a good piece on the work that remains to be done<\/a>. Me, I&#8217;m going to watch <a href=\"http:\/\/nielsenhayden.com\/makinglight\/archives\/008158.html#008158\">Making Light<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/nielsenhayden.com\/makinglight\/archives\/008173.html#008173\">do the<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/nielsenhayden.com\/makinglight\/archives\/008182.html#008182\">Happy Dance<\/a> for a little while yet.
