{"id":5075,"date":"2010-09-21T20:06:40","date_gmt":"2010-09-21T20:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2010\/09\/21\/how-to-teach-physics-to-your-c\/"},"modified":"2010-09-21T20:06:40","modified_gmt":"2010-09-21T20:06:40","slug":"how-to-teach-physics-to-your-c","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chadorzel.com\/principles\/2010\/09\/21\/how-to-teach-physics-to-your-c\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Teach Physics to Your Chinese Dog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Got a big box in the mail today, which included author copies of two Asian editions: the <a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/2010\/07\/how_to_teach_physics_to_your_j.php\">Japanese edition<\/a>, which I had seen before, and this:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/principles\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/467\/files\/2012\/04\/i-f25cede30eaf2763f19945029f9efe44-sm_chinese_book.jpg\" alt=\"i-f25cede30eaf2763f19945029f9efe44-sm_chinese_book.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>That is, obviously, the Chinese edition of <a href=\"http:\/\/dogphysics.com\/\"><cite>How to Teach Physics to Your Dog<\/cite><\/a>. I say &#8220;obviously&#8221; mostly because I know that edition was about ready to roll out&#8211; I can&#8217;t say anything about the actual characters on the cover, other than that they don&#8217;t include any katakana, and thus it&#8217;s not the Japanese edition, and they&#8217;re not hangul characters, meaning it&#8217;s not the Korean edition. Other than that, I got nothing.<\/p>\n<p>If you can read Chinese, and provide a translation of the cover text, particularly the two questions in orange and the exclamation in blue, I&#8217;d love to know what that says.
