But (for better or worse) the material just keeps on coming. . .<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Derek&#8217;s blog pre-dates this one by a few months&#8211; I specifically cite him in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.steelypips.org\/principles\/2002_06_16_principlearchive.php#85191222\">very first Uncertain Principles post<\/a>, so he&#8217;s got me beat. I wonder, though, if there are any science blogs that have been going for longer. I suppose it hinges on the definition of a &#8220;blog&#8221;&#8211; John Baez&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/math.ucr.edu\/home\/baez\/TWF.html\">This Week&#8217;s Finds<\/a> started in 1993, and Bob Park&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bobpark.org\/\">What&#8217;s New<\/a> pre-dates the Web, having started in 1987 (or at least that&#8217;s the first year for which they have an <a href=\"http:\/\/bobpark.physics.umd.edu\/WN87\/index.html\">online archive<\/a>).
