The following poll lists a bunch of less-well-known physicists (that is, not Bohr, Einstein, Heisenberg, Pauli, etc.) who contributed to the development of quantum mechanics. Which of them was the best?<\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" charset=\"utf-8\" src=\"http:\/\/static.polldaddy.com\/p\/1937732.js\"><\/script><noscript><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/answers.polldaddy.com\/poll\/1937732\/\">Which of these less-well-known quantum pioneers was the best?<\/a><span style=\"font-size:9px;\">(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.polldaddy.com\">surveys<\/a>)<\/span><br \/>\n<\/noscript><\/p>\n<p>While these are quantum pioneers, we&#8217;re still working in the individual physicist basis. Linear combinations of two or more physicists are not observable, and thus not acceptable choices.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>(This is even more hastily assembled than usual, so I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ve forgotten some worthy candidates.
