The scores on the test were about what I expect, given the material. As I&#8217;m looking at the scores, trying to assess the class as a whole, I&#8217;m curious about the issue of score reporting, so I&#8217;ll throw this out to the general readership:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>What information do you think students should be given about exam scores?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>You can answer this from either a faculty or a student perspective (please indicate which).<\/p>\n<p>My general practice is to hand back the tests, and put the high score, low score, and mean on the board. I&#8217;ve seen professors do everything from just handing tests back with no comment, to writing all the individual scores (without names, of course) on the board. I&#8217;m curious to know what other people think on this issue.
