Hey, Mike. Rough month, eh? You’re doing all right in the polls at the moment, but just getting hammered from all sides in the blogosphere. You’re getting blasted for denying evolution<\/a>, but also for not denying it fiercely enough for Ann Coulter<\/a>. People are none too happy about your ill-informed ideas about public health<\/a>, or your attempts to link law and religion<\/a>. And to top it all off, you got dogged by a seven-year-old girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dude, that’s harsh.<\/p>\n

I’m here to help, though, Mike. I’ve got your back at ScienceBlogs.<\/p>\n

No, I don’t actually agree with any of your goober-iffic views on science, morality, or public policy. But that doesn’t really matter, because as I said some months ago, my endorsement is up for grabs<\/a>. Come to Schenectady, play me in basketball, and I’ll endorse you for the Republican primaries. You’ve got a good shot of beating me, too– I’ve taken a couple of weeks off to recover from some nagging injuries, and I’ve been eating way<\/strong> too much over the holidays. A fitness freak like you ought to be able to run circles around me.<\/p>\n
